FUTURE OF THE
DEPARTMENT:-
The Mechanical
Engineering Department of Assam Engineering Institute has been producing the
right kind of technical manpower necessary to sustain and promote industrial
and economic growth for more than fifty five years. The demand for Mechanical
Engineers in the North-Eastern region and other region of our country is
increasing with the development of industries. With a well qualified staff and
a lot of new equipment in the modernized laboratories, the students have
benefited by getting proper technical exposure. Further, the Department has
provided and will continue to provide its services to the society in general
and industry in particular by providing right information , appropriate
technology and high quality skill engineers.
CONCLUSION
With NEQIP and other
government aided project , Mechanical Engineering Department of Assam
Engineering Institute have developed and is carrying on its growth to prepare
its students to compete with the latest technologies.
